Judging and Submitting
Judging is based on five basic criteria: Content, Creativity, Technical Elements – Audio, Technical Elements – Video, and Overall Reaction. There are a total of 21 competitive categories.

- 1st entry free
- 30 each additional entry
- Non-JAG members; $50 per entry
- All payments or purchase order must be received by March 15, 2026 or the entry may be disqualified. Contact gfairfield@piscatawaynj.org if unable to meet this deadline.

- SUBMISSION ELIGIBILITY
- All programs must have been produced & aired between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
- Original program may be any length; however you can only submit a maximum of 10 minutes.
- For any entry over 10 minutes: submit 3 parts; the beginning, middle, and ending. Not to exceed 10 minutes.
- Submitted portions must appear as they were originally produced and aired.
- All entries must be accompanied by a 30 second highlight clip for use as part of the JAG Video Awards presentation.
- Each entry will be adjudicated in the following method:
- Gold (76 to 100% of the maximum score)
- Silver (51 to 75% of the maximum score)
- Bronze (25 to 50% of the maximum score)
- Each category will have the following awards:
- Award of Excellence – Highest Judge’s Score
- Award of Distinction – Second Highest Judge’s Score
- Award of Honor – Third Highest Judge’s Score
- Additional Awards may be presented to a JAG member
- Ties for the Award of Excellence will be broken
- Additional trophies can be ordered
